Why We Love This Garlic Parmesan Sauce

This Garlic Parmesan Sauce even better than the version from Buffalo Wild Wings! As usual, homemade is better and this creamy, garlicky sauce is no exception.

  • SO Easy To Make: All you need is about 3 minutes to make this sauce. Add the ingredients to a bowl, whisk and serve.
  • BETTER Than BWW: I promise you, this recipe is even better than the original. Especially if you’re buying it in a bottle and not eating at the restaurant.
  • Versatile: Not only do we love this sauce on chicken wings, we use it for french fries, a dollop in pasta and so much more.

Recipe Ingredients

Just a few pantry staples is all you need to make this garlic parmesan sauce. Head to the recipe card at the end of the post for amounts needed.

ingredients for making garlic parmesan sauce
  • Mayonnaise: You can use any mayo you like but we encourage you to use full fat, regular mayonnaise. We’re not trying to cut calories here, we’re looking for the best flavor.
  • Butter: Melted butter adds a rich flavor to the sauce, also helps make the sauce smooth.
  • Garlic: Fresh garlic is best, garlic powder can be used as a substitute but it won’t add that spicy garlic flavor.
  • Parmesan Cheese: Use a good quality cheese, preferably freshly grated.
  • Parsley: Again, fresh parsley will add the brightest flavor, but you can substitute dried parsley too.
  • Salt & Pepper: Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper will add the best flavor.

How To Make

Two steps to make this creamy, addicting sauce and you’re done! For complete instructions head to the recipe card at the end of the post.

  • Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk together until blended. The sauce will tighten up as it sits (especially after being refrigerated) But once it’s mixed with any hot food it will be deliciously saucy.
  • Taste the sauce for seasonings and serve. Read the rest of the post below for serving suggestions and storage instructions.

Serving Suggestions

Our go to for using this sauce is our Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings, but there’s so many other options. Most any chicken wing recipe is going to be amazing, coated or as a dipping sauce. A scoop or two in plainer sauced pasta dishes like this shrimp with broccoli pasta, or even as a sauce for plain pasta.

Use it as a dipping sauce for french fries or chicken fingers, and even dare we say…dip some pizza into it. So good, it takes your indulgent foods to another level. And we’re not done…another epic idea is to let a dollop of this garlic parmesan sauce melt over a nice, juicy steak.
