Cheesy Hot Corn Dip Recipe

We all need an appetizer recipe like this Hot Corn Dip in our back pocket! Just for those times when you have unexpected company or you just don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen.

The best part of this corn dip, besides the flavor, is that you might already have everything you need right at home to make it!

Frozen corn and cheese are staples at our house and so are pickled jalapeños. But I get that pickled jalapeños aren’t a staple in everyone’s house…

So if you have everything else to make this Cheesy Corn Dip you can leave them off. Or you could also add a can of diced green chilis to the top of this hot corn dip, or even a jar of salsa!

How To Make Hot Corn Dip

There’s no need to defrost the corn for this dip, just add it all in the bowl. Fresh corn or canned corn are also great options for making this dip, again, just throw it in the bowl. It’s really so easy!

Once you have the base of the dip in a bowl, just mix it together and then add it to a small baking dish. We used a rectangular baking dish, but and 8 inch by 8 inch dish will work perfectly.

Last thing to do is to add those jalapeños right on top before putting this dip in the oven!

 Cheesy Corn Dip process

This corn dip only takes about 20 minutes in the oven, just to get all the cheese melted and the ingredients warmed through. Also, bake this uncovered so that the jalapeños roast as they cook. this will mellow out the flavor just a little.

The only thing there is to know about this dip is that it does need to be served right from the oven, piping hot!

Keep your oven on just in case your dip starts to get cold on you, then you can pop it in for just a few minutes and you’re good to go!

What Can You Serve With This Corn Dip Recipe?

Grab a bunch of tortilla chips for dipping! Tortilla chips kind of go with everything, don’t you think? Also be sure to grab Fritos, pretzel chips and even carrot chips if you’re looking for a low carb dip recipe.

Toasted slices of bread would also be delicious, for all you carb lovers. Or any kind of crackers you have, too. Ritz crackers would be exceptionally tasty with this corn dip!
